About
I’m Tobias Lieshoff, an IT System Administrator and Security Researcher based in Berlin, Germany. I lead the IT team at Castle Tech GmbH (CarOnSale), where I’m responsible for infrastructure, security, team coordination, and building reliable IT solutions that support the company’s operations.
Before joining Castle Tech, I’ve managed the IT and IT projects at Wettarena, a European sports betting provider.
I’m passionate about programming, security research, writing, and reading. I enjoy understanding how systems work, building tools, exploring new technologies, and turning ideas into something real. Outside of tech, I enjoy good food, long walks, new cafés, photography with my Canon EOS 90D, playing pool, meeting new people, and discovering Berlin’s quieter corners.
Colophon
This site runs on a custom framework I built myself in Node.js. All content—blog posts and pages—is written in Markdown and served from an Ubuntu machine at Hetzner, delivered via Nginx.
The framework and the theme are both custom-made, and I improve them step by step whenever I have time.
It began as a space for technical notes and experiments, but became something more personal. Today, it’s my home on the web—a place to write, share photos, document ideas, and keep things that matter to me.
